Da Nang Hosts All-Female Lifeguard Rescue Competition
Lifeguards from across Southeast Asia and Australia gathered in Da Nang, Vietnam, for a thrilling competition testing their skills and endurance. The event, held on April 27, featured participants from Australia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, and various regions of Vietnam, including the beautiful coastal cities of Hue, Quang Nam, Da Nang, and Nha Trang. The competition included a range of challenging events, starting with a swimming race, followed by a rescue board relay, and culminating in a board swimming race to save a simulated drowning victim. The lifeguards’ skills and teamwork were put to the test as they raced against time to provide crucial assistance.
